Nadiya Bychkova: Career, Split with Kai, and Tour 2026

Anyone who has watched Nadiya Bychkova on the Strictly Come Dancing floor knows she makes it look easy, but the Ukrainian professional dancer joined the BBC show in 2017 per The Sun (UK news outlet) and has spent the years since balancing a decorated competitive career with celebrity partnerships and, more recently, headlines about her personal life. This is what’s actually known about her career, her split from Kai Widdrington, and what she has planned for 2026.

Nationality: Ukrainian · Joined Strictly: 2017 · World Champion: 2 times · European Champion: 2 times · Child: 1 daughter

Seven facts about Nadiya Bychkova, one pattern: the public record is precise about her career and quiet about her personal stats.

The pattern: the more personal the detail, the thinner the paper trail. What is documented is professional — titles, show credits, and on-stage partnerships.

Who is the Ukrainian dancer on Strictly Come Dancing?

Nadiya Bychkova is the Strictly professional who turned a decorated competitive past into a primetime present. Her record includes two World and two European championships in the 10-dance discipline, plus multiple Slovenian national titles from her amateur career — the competitive résumé that earned her a place on the show.

She joined the professional line-up in 2017 and became a regular presence in the group numbers and celebrity pairings. That context matters for 2026: when a dancer with this CV says she is moving on, the decision is a career shift, not a footnote.

Who is Chris Robshaw’s dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing?

• Rugby player Chris Robshaw was Nadiya’s celebrity partner in the 2021 series (Metro (UK news outlet)).

The pairing put Nadiya alongside one of the biggest sports names in that year’s cast. Robshaw was the Strictly novice; Nadiya was the professional with the trophy cabinet.

What this means: Nadiya’s British television identity was built in layers — first the decorated newcomer, then the partner of high-profile celebrities. That history is why her 2026 pivot reads as a deliberate move rather than a quiet exit.

Are Nadiya Bychkova and Kai Widdrington still together?

No — by early 2026, reports described Nadiya and Kai, both Strictly professionals, as split. Neither has given a detailed public account of what happened, so the verified record stops at: they were together, and now they are not.

Why did Nadiya and Kai split up?

• No public statement from either dancer explains the split.
• 2026 tour listings put them on separate projects — a Kai Widdrington Evolution Tour and a Nadiya Bychkova Jukebox Idols Tour (Musicals on Tour (theatre listings site)).

Neither dancer has cited work as the reason. The listings simply show two busy professionals heading in different directions — with one notable shared date in Brighton.

Has Kai from Strictly got a girlfriend?

• Kai’s current relationship status is not publicly confirmed.
• Tour listings pair him with Vicky Pattison as a “celebrity couple” for the 2026 Strictly Live Tour — in Strictly shorthand, that means dance partners, not romance (Musicals on Tour (theatre listings site)).

The implication: without official statements, the public record can only establish the outline — together, then apart, then professionally adjacent. The reasons, and Kai’s current status, stay private until either dancer chooses otherwise.

Does Nadiya Bychkova have a child?

According to recent reports, yes — Nadiya has a daughter. The coverage followed family photos she shared, including an unseen baby-bump photo that reportedly circulated in early 2026. What none of the reporting confirms is the child’s name, age, or father. No official source has verified this.

The trade-off: a public figure can share a photo and receive warmth, but the gap between image and statement invites speculation. The pattern: the existence of a child remains unconfirmed by official sources.

What is Nadiya Bychkova’s net worth?

There is no verified net-worth figure for Nadiya Bychkova. Neither she nor the BBC has published earnings from Strictly, and online estimates vary so widely that they are best treated as guesswork. The same applies to her height: no official measurement has been released.

What is Nadiya Bychkova’s height?

• No official height has been published by Nadiya, the BBC, or the show.
• Fan databases list differing figures; none is verified by Nadiya herself.

That has not stopped lists from assigning her both a height and a fortune. The honest answer to both is the same: not publicly confirmed.

The catch: the absence of data has not stopped the numbers from multiplying. What they lack in verification they make up for in confidence — which is exactly why they should not be repeated.

Is Nadiya Bychkova going on tour?

Yes — the better question is which tour. In a 2026 interview, Nadiya said she had just completed a second tour with fellow professional Nikita Kuzmin and that a return to the Strictly studio was not part of her plan at the time, while leaving future creative work with the show open (The Sun (UK news outlet)).

• 22 May 2026: Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals at Brighton Centre, with Nadiya and Kai Widdrington both named; two performances at 13:30 and 18:30 (VisitBrighton (official tourism site)).
• June 2026: Supernova tour begins, with Nadiya announced as a guest on selected dates (Entertainment Daily (showbiz news site)).
• 2026: “Nadiya Bychkova Jukebox Idols 2026 UK Tour” appears on a listings site, without venues or confirmed dates (Musicals on Tour (theatre listings site)).

Metro reported in March 2026 that she was among the professional dancers not returning to the main Strictly Come Dancing series (Metro (UK news outlet)). Her own comments pointed the same way: grateful for the show, but focused on what comes next.

Key dates in Nadiya Bychkova’s career so far

The timeline separates what has happened from what has only been listed.

• 2017: Joins Strictly Come Dancing as a professional (The Sun (UK news outlet)).
• 2021: Partners rugby player Chris Robshaw for the series (Metro (UK news outlet)).
• 2026: Tells an interviewer a studio return is not planned and that she has just completed a second tour with Nikita Kuzmin (The Sun (UK news outlet)).
• 22 May 2026: Confirmed for the Professionals show in Brighton (VisitBrighton (official tourism site)).
• June 2026: Reported start of Nikita Kuzmin’s Supernova tour, with Nadiya as guest on selected dates (Entertainment Daily (showbiz news site)).
• 2026 (unconfirmed): “Jukebox Idols” solo UK tour appears on a listings site (Musicals on Tour (theatre listings site)).

The pattern: a career built on televised Saturdays is shifting toward live stages. The 2026 entries are performance dates and plans — none include a return to the Strictly studio.

What’s confirmed about Nadiya Bychkova — and what isn’t

The divide matters: fans can plan around the confirmed items, but the unclear column deserves the same attention. In an information vacuum, unverified details tend to harden into “facts” — and 2026 coverage of Nadiya is full of that risk.

What Nadiya has said about leaving Strictly

In a 2026 interview, Nadiya said she was grateful for her time on Strictly, that a return to the studio was not part of her current plan, and that she was ready for new creative work — including live touring.

The through-line: every statement points toward live performance. Whether that means a solo tour, a guest run, or a one-off Professionals show, the pattern in 2026 is consistent — dancing stays at the center, even when the TV show doesn’t.

Where Nadiya Bychkova goes from here

Nadiya Bychkova’s next chapter looks less like a farewell and more like a relocation. The confirmed pieces are a Brighton Professionals date in May, a guest role in Nikita Kuzmin’s Supernova tour, and her own statement that the Strictly studio is not part of the current plan; the unconfirmed piece is a solo tour that fans should not count on yet. For UK dance fans, the choice is clear: follow the official venue listings and Nadiya’s own announcements, or risk paying for a tour that hasn’t been confirmed.
